FABBRICHE APERTE busbar

On Friday 27th October 2023 the great Fabbriche Aperte Piemonte regional event took place, an occasion in which factories open their doors to visitors, to show them the “behind the scenes” of their production.

This year, Graziadio joined this initiative for the first time… and the result was very positive!

Several interested guests came to visit us, each with their own questions and curiosities.

Discovering the Graziadio ducts with Fabbriche Aperte

The tour began with the presentation of our main busbar trunking lines: GDA, GLS, J SERIES, ISOLSBARRA, K SERIES

Led by our Quality Manager Denis Saggiorato, visitors were able to discover the characteristics that make our products so unique. We start with our Isolsbarra line, represented by the figure of the elephant. Did you know that it is the only one, in Italy and in the world, to have an IP68 protection rating? This means that, if submerged at a depth of 5 meters underwater, it is still able to conduct electricity perfectly!

Subsequently, it was the turn of the K Series line, the busbar represented by the lion, a figure that could not have been more appropriate. Like the mighty animal, the K Series bus also has strong resistance to high temperatures. This makes it perfectly suitable for installations in all those parts of the world that are particularly hot.

Furthermore, if the highlight of Isolsbarra is water, K Series also has its advantages, which affect the body aspect instead. Its dimensions, in fact, are much more compact than its sister line Isolsbarra and therefore takes up less space.

Graziadio Fabbrica Aperta

The visit continued in the heart of our factory, where the guests could see very closely the work of our workers and all the production phases that lead to the birth of our products: the assembly point of very small pieces, carried out entirely by hand; the carpentry, where a laser system that is capable of tracing very precise designs cuts aluminum sheets (and which has allowed us to save 90% of the time); the laboratory, where various tests are carried out to ensure that the ducts are in line with safety and effectiveness requirements (for example, they are placed under electrical voltage, sometimes even beyond their capacity).

Finally, during the day, we had the great pleasure of receiving the visit of the Piedmont region Concilor, Andrea Tronzano, who congratulated us on our activity.

We sincerely thank everyone who took the time to come and discover our factory and we hope to meet again at the next edition of Fabbriche Aperte!
